I’m just about ready to start the new year now, perhaps my financial year is different to the norm, but I’m rarely raring to go in Jan. By March the initial shock has died down and I’m starting to think more clearly about what this year might look like work wise. Well what I’d like it to look like.
I’m starting a new blogging thing over here and I’ll transfer over various old blogs as time goes on as well as writing new things as much as I can. This is all part of my digital decluttering and prep to move to Helsinki in the Summer.
Bermsville is going international! This means I’ll have to get better at speaking about myself and my work in both English and Finnish, so better start with the English version first.
Some things I’ve been up to this year:
- An excellent day in Liverpool to attend the real life Agile in the Ether conference. Emily has done a round up here. It’s a great community and even though my attendance is definitely sporadic I always feel welcomed and supported.
- Consulting with the folks over at Sport England as part of their efforts to become service led. They have a great group of people there who want to do things differently and work better together. Will write more on this as there are lots of familiar themes that I know I and others can probably learn from. This quote from the excellent Ayesha sums up some of it though

Other than that it’s been mostly taking things to the charity shop.
